Can a arlo vmc3030 camera operate in a separate location than the base station?

The old arlo wirefree Cameras VMC3030 needs to be in wifi range of the arlo Base station for access to the arlo servers via the internet, usually up to 300ft with no obstacles.   I.e. no Walls, floors etc.

If you mean a totally separate location such as a vacation house, no, the cameras and base need to be co-located as noted above.
