iPhone notifications

With the new iPhone update to notifications.   I can’t hear the notification sound.  Therefore can’t hear the notifications during the night.  I can’t find a solution to this ?
Can you add different sounds for the notification as the new iPhone one doesn’t work well at all.   Eg : add more options inside the app for iPhone so I can hear the notification again.  You can’t change the sound in the app and with iPhones new update I can’t hear the notification at all now you can’t change anything 

I know it’s iPhones fault but would like to be able to actually hear the notification from the cameras, maybe inside the app change or add sounds.

In the Arlo app under the silhouette on the top left under the notifications section there is a spot that says notification tone. If you click on that it gives you three different sound options. You can see if one of those will work better for you then the one that is currently defaulted.
