for Arlo purchased 3 2017 motion detection not working

Anyone having issues getting the motion detector to work. If I shake the camera in my hand it works.  I have the sensor set as high as it goes.  Battery is at 76% but it will not detect me going in and out of my door right under the camera.  Is it defective? Am I missing something?  Also the Enabling test Mode just keeps circling and never stops. Now if I try to back out it says Busy.

First, try opening the battery compartment for 10 seconds and then closing it. The camera will restart. Then test the motion detection again
