How to transfer clips from my cloud library to a usb storage device attached to my ARLO base

How to transfer ARLO library cloud clips to the base station attached  USB storage. I can download them on my phone and computer, but there are 2 usb ports on the base and I was led to believe I could store directly to attached storage. I am unable to find any directions for that.

If you are using an Arlo base ( not Pro base) the USB ports are non- functional except maybe power
If you are using a Pro base, You can not transfer from the cloud to the USB drive, it doesn't work that way. On the Pro base, videos go to the cloud AND the cloud at the same time. The USB drive would be the same as cloud
