camera on recording and notifications off

is there a setting that will allow me to keep cameras on to live view and not record or do notifications?

Live view automatically disconnects recording so you'd have to manually record. However, the wireless cameras time out at 30 minutes to preserve the batteries. I can't remember offhand if the Q cameras will live view longer or not.
