arlo system with 3 cameras

my base station is connected to internet; but i am unable to sync cameras; this is a first time setup.

when i hit the sync button my camera sync light does nothing

most common problem is holding the Arlo base sync button to long... a quick push on the base sync and then about 3-5 seconds later push the camera's button
