OK ... I read MANY posts with similar problems and I tried all but one.

- I have 5 cameras

- One camera's batteries ran out so I changed them

- I changed the batteries but the camera never synched automatically like the others

- I tried the suggestions I read over here and am still unable to sync it, so as also suggested, I removed the camera

Result - I cannot get the base to see this camera (used the Android app, the web interface and just the base & camera)

What I did:

- Pressed the base sync < 1sec

- Camera LED on the base blinks

- I placed the camera ~6 inches from the base

- I pressed the camera's button once (<1 sec ... I also tried 2 seconds)

- Camera LED flashes at ~ 1 flash/sec

- Nothing happens .... no sync, nothing. By the way, the camera's LED continues to flash at ~1/sec, it doesn't stop, even after over 15 minutes.

- I tried this several times to no avail

Note that I opened the camera's battery cover between each try to make sure it was starting fresh.

My comment: This is crazy! ... the only thing I haven't done is a full reset of the base as it means that I need to get all of the cameras and resync each one, which is a pain as to where they are located.

Question 1 - Is it normal that the camera's blue LED continues to flash now after 20 minutes?

Question 2 - Is the only way out to reset the base and start fresh?

1) No, not normal.

2) I don't know it will fix anything but it's about the only way left.
