Wire-Free Camera will not sync

I recently started with one Arlo camera and the original larger base station.  I've had one camera working well. I just got another system with three cameras to expand the system.  Those cameras will not sync with my existing network. The blue light never stops flashing slowly.  I tried opening the battery door and syncing again, with two different cameras and none will sync.  What's going on? This should be easy and fast..

Nevermind.  I had to reboot the base station.  No mention of this at all in any troublershooting docs or vids!
