I do not have any account nor have I purchased anything from Arlo, yet when checking my bank account I noticed a fraudulent charge this morning. I don't even know who Arlo is other than a scam organization.

I also saw this, I had my Bank deal with it BUT if it goes through, I going to Dispute the charges. it was on Hold so i hope it doesn't go through.

I am having the exact same issue and just had to go through making an account to report this. What is being done on your end of things and when can I expect the two charges to be reimbursed or at least the second one cancelled?

The same thing has happened to me! This company needs to get its financials in check and stop trying to scam people that have nothing to do with them! And better yet, I can’t connect with anyone cause they make it impossible! Now I just have to wait for somebody to reach out to me hopefully soon

I also have a fraudulent charge from this company for $5170.92 its been in pending status since
11/27/24. I never heard of this company, never authorized any charges. I filed a police report. The company makes it impossible to call or chat for assistance. Google searches show this is a widespread fraud. This company must be stopped.

same happened to me. but this was through my checking account in the amount of $5170.92 not sure how they got my debit/banking info but the transaction clearly show ARLO Technology and has a bull**bleep** phone number to call. The company has no way to contact directly. I filed a police report. the transaction has been in pending status since 11/27/2024

My husband had the same problem this morning. His credit card was charged 37 USD while he was sleeping! He doesn't have any subscription on Arlo and he didn't even connect this card to his phone. Can someone explain what's happening and what can we do to get our money back?

The card was compromised somehow, and some else charged Arlo.
Contact your bank, and dispute the charge. Ask for a new card, and change the password on any accounts that do have the payment method saved.
One of the mods - @BrookeN, @JamesC, or @ShayneS - will create a support ticket on your behalf (though they might need your husband's contact info). But don't wait for them to respond before taking action, as whoever has your card info will likely use it for other purchases.

Why are these fraudulent charges being made to Arlo? Mine is still in pending status with my bank since 11/25. Doesn’t make sense to me unless someone with the company is in on the scam.

As of this morning, the fraudulent charge from Arlo is no longer pending in my bank account. (Not posted either.) I assume that means someone at Arlo canceled it? Hope the same happens to the rest of you.

Interesting, I see there is a lot more people in the same boat as me. I have a charge on 12/7 for $26.74. I have never even heard of this company.
Going through the comments, it's very suspicious that there are quite a few others with the same charge. Also, a mod or someone claiming it's CC fraud. I have no other fraudulent charges on my CC. Something seems off.
How did y'all go about getting your money back?
