Why Wasn't I Notified Of My Cameras Being Taken Out?

I had a recent break-in into my home while I was away and the burglars took out/destroyed my external Arlo cameras. 

I don't know how they did it without being detected but I was disappointed that the Arlo app didnt notify me that 2 cameras were suddenly offlined.

 

Luckily for me I had other cameras inside the house where they didnt notice and the police were able to identify and apprehend the culprits.

 

My question still stands though... Maybe a potential feature for furture app updates?
