I'm not too good with pictures.  Which direction (or number) should I go to increase the sensitivity of the camera so it detects motion more readily?

100 is the most sensitive. I normally recommend people set it at 100 and turn it down 1 each time you get an activation that you don't want within 30 mins of another. You should eventually drop to a "Sweet spot" of sensitivity suitable to the location you have your camera mounted. If you can't find the sweet spot, you might have to reconsider the position you have your camera mounted

Edit your recording mode. Edit the rule for the camera you want to adjust. Next to Record on motion, click the pencil or > icon. Then adjust the slider down
