After I change the batteries on my Arlo and go back to looking at my camera app, it tells me that the batteries need to be changed, even though they are brand new.  How do I get it to recognise there are new batteries?

(Silly question I know, driving me crazy!)

First thing is what type of batteries are you using... OEM or LI-ION?

Second is if Li-ion, are you using the correct ones that are 3.7v ( not lower )?

If OEM, check the voltage of the new batteries, they should measure at 3.2v when new ( if able ),  If not after putting batteries, power down the base and power back on , let the base come fully online to see if it corrected the issue.
