What subscription free options are there?

I liked Arlo at the start... The hardware price was fair, the subscription price was acceptable.

But I no longer feel it's good value for money.

The detection is all over the place.. There are so many recent occasions where there's no recording of me arriving or leaving.

So god knows what goes on at other times of the day.

I agree: it was good to start with, which prompted me to buy more of their products. Now? A completely different story. I'm *very* dissatisfied with the quality. 

My detection is all over the place. It was ok for pro 2 around Christmas time, but they've done something and now is poor. My Ultra has the same poor detection rate, regardless of how far the camera is from the object and regardless of the direction the object moves. Quality of video - supposedly HD and 4K - is very poor also: pixelated, overexposed, choppy. My HD still shows a black screen when you try to live stream. It's very poor value for money this system now. I'm about to complain to Verisure UK as this system now is not what I'd paid for!
