What Does Error Mean? - "The Connection To The Media Server Has Timed Out"

Can anyone help me figure out what this message means: the connection to the media server has timed out. I'm not sure where to start. Thanks

If in doubt, reboot the base unit with the power button... off then on and let it come back up ( about 2 mins max )
