WLAN Reichweite, Kamera Offline

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe gestern meine Arlo Pro 4 Kamera an der Rückseite meines Hauses installiert. Hierbei handelt es sich um einen massiven (Ziegel + Beton) Neubau. Nun habe ich das Problem, dass die Kamera regelmäßig offline ist. Die Entfernung zum WLAN Router beträgt etwa 20 Meter Luftlinie. Kann es sein, dass die Kamera diese Entfernung wirklich nicht schafft??? Oder liegt hier evtl. ein anderes Problem vor?

Es wäre toll, wenn mir jemand hierzu Infos geben könnte.

It's very likely that it's the building construction causing this. Placing the router or a WiFi extender as close as possible to the camera should help.

Try running speedtest (the ookla app) on your phone at the camera location.  See what the upload and download speeds are.  That should give you some indication of the signal quality.

Turn off mobile data on the phone before running the test.
