We got a new Verizon gig router.  I plugged the ethernet cord from the basestation to the router.  The three lights turn green but the cameras won't connect.  I tried to search for the problem but I don't know how to get it to work.  I tried to do these steps but when I select my devices no where does it say step 4 and 5 on my app and on the webrowser when logged into my computer.  Can someone please help?

To change the Wi-Fi network that your Arlo device is connected to:

  1. Launch the Arlo Secure App.
  2. Tap Settings > My Devices.
  3. Select the name of your Arlo device.
  4. Tap Connected to, directly below the Device On switch.
  5. Tap Change Network at the bottom of the screen.

This process only applies when the cameras are connected to your home wifi.  Your cameras are connected through your VMB4000 base.

Those lights mean that the base is connected to the cameras, so something is off.

Is the base station showing offline in the app?  Or is it online?

Have you tried rebooting the base station?  Or perhaps removing/reinserting the battery in one of the cameras?

The base station and all three cameras are showing offline. I did try rebooting and I even changed the Ethernet cable just in case but no luck. Since the base station isn’t online I figured removing the camera batteries wouldn’t do anything.

I agree that getting the base on line is the next step.

You might try powering down both the base and the new router.  Then power up the router first, followed by the base.  Double-check that the base shows up in the router's attached device list.

If that doesn't do it, you might need to do a factory reset.
