Hi,

I've just moved and want to use my Arlo hub and cameras I used to use years ago but when I plug my hub into the internet it keeps trying to connect but never does. It keeps trying and trying. On a loop. So I went out and bought another hub 2nd hand. But the same thing happens. I can't use my cameras and hub. Are your early pieces of equipment still supported? I hope so. Please help.

Thank you,
Richard.

What are the LEDs showing on the base unit?

Should be green, green, amber if it has been factory reset.

My opinion is that Arlo is experiencing a bug in the new UI app experience.

This has been a very common issue for legacy camera and base units for at least 12 months.

Arlo has previously commented that the base units are too old for the firmware to be updated so they will not release a fix although they are still supporting them.

Some workarounds you can try are,

Make sure that the base unit has been properly removed from the previous owner account.

Use a PC connected to the local router with Ethernet cable and login to the Arlo web portal with a web browser, my.arlo.com.

Perform another factory reset of the base unit while connected to the internet.
