ANy cameras are compatible with the newer bases and hubs. The reverse isn't true - new cameras won't work with the VMB3xxx bases.

Likely doesn't matter much, as generally the range is constrained by the radio power limits.

Both are very old bases, so if you are looking to purchase I suggest either a VMB4540 or a VMB5000.

Well, the problem with that is, I’m not sure if the newer bases will work with my cameras. And I don’t want to replace everything. I have the VMC 3030 cameras

I tried upgrading, or at least getting the Arlo, indoor cameras, and they would not work with my base, so I’m assuming my cameras would not work with a newer base, but I could be wrong
