Hi, the base station has lost its connection to the internet. It won’t reconnect.  Any ideas?

How do you know the connection is lost? WHat are the LEDs on the base showing (all of them and color)? What have you tried? What do you see? Have you tried rebooting your router and base, in that order?

The base station is not recognised by Arlo when I try to set it up

You didn't answer my questions. We need to know all details, especially the LED colors.

That means the base isn't connected to the router. Could be a bad base, a bad cable (or one that isn't completely plugged in) or an issue with the router. STart by using a different Ethernet cable, ensuring that it's fully plugged in on both ends, and using a different port on the router. If that doesn't help, unplug both the router and base and plug them back in, in that order. Wait for the router to fully reboot before plugging the base in.
