Usb

I have a VMB4000 base station. 

I would like to connect a USB device for backup. I can't format the one I have. Can you tell me which are the appropriate devices I can use?

 What do you have?

I generally recommend a name-brand USB thumb drive in the 128-512 GB range.

I've used Sandisk with success, though other brands (including Kingston, Patriot, PNY, Transcend) should also work.
