I have 9 Arlo cameras running (currently) on a VMB4000 hub. Many of the cameras are mounted on the roof or high on trees, all using solar panels and WiFi. To me this was the beauty of using a rather expensive camera system...

However I wanted to be able and view the local storage on the mobile app, so purchased a VMB4540 hub and installed it... to my surprise, I can't move the cameras to the new hub without taking them all down and re-pairing them with the new hub!! I don't do heights, and paid a contractor over $400 to install the cameras/panels after I had paired them with the original hub. It would be double to have him come out and bring them all down, wait while I pair them, and then re-install them (some are 30' up).

This seems to be a deficiency in the software, they are all on the same network, they display all their MAC addresses... why isn't there a utility function to move cameras from one hub to another... So now I have a nice new hub on the network with no cameras... After being transferred via the support chat to 4 technicians... there is no solution... other than either re-pair all the cameras, or subscribe to another expensive (and Arlo proprietary) cloud storage system... makes me pretty sour on Arlo right now... Hopefully Arlo support reads these posts and will suggest a fix to their software tech team...
