Upgrade last night

Arlo Secure. Woke up this morning and Arlo has "upgraded" my app. What a nightmare. The old app worked well. I'm supposedly on a 30 day trial. I did not ask to be tried. I have enough trials in my life!

I had the same experience everything was working fine on my 2 accounts.  Now I can only access my Pro2 base station cameras.  My Pro cameras the new app won't find them.  I can log in fine using my laptop.  Arlo pushed an update to my phone and my tablet so both don't work now.  Oh and it changed all the motion settings with a 'trial' and now my cameras go off continuously and drain the batteries.  According to the great new app I have animals and Fires!  How do we downgrade to the old app?

How do we get rid of the new app which won't recognize my Pro base station, only my Pro 2.

Are all of your shared users/Admin on the latest app experience? Do all accounts see the Feed tab at the bottom?

I seem to be having similar issues . We can no longer see my sister in laws cameras and they can’t see ours . I have tried deleting their access to ours and resent an invitation but that doesn’t seem to help .my wife can’t even see our cameras and I reset her access also but to no avail . Have no idea where to go with this . I can still see our cameras but no one else can. They screwed something up big time .  It had worked perfectly for the last 8 years . Suggestions ?

  1. Do you see "Feed" and "Dashboard" in your app menu?  Or do you instead see "Library"?
  2. What does your sister-in-law see?

Both accounts need to match (either both showing "Feed" or both showing "Library").  It is possible to force the migration to "Feed".  But it is important that you (and your sister-in-law) understand the implications before you do that.

Are all users using the same interface? The current apps support both the old one that uses Library to view recordings while the new one uses Feed. All users must be using the same interface.

 

If all are using the new interface, the accounts that are viewing someone else's cameras must click on Home and choose the bottom choice. Each user gets a Home location so they need to select the other person's Home. I suggest renaming Home so it's obvious whose is whose.
