Unable to get email or iOS notifications

Hello,

I have older H7 cameras, which work fine and I am able to view the live feed on the app. I used to get email notifications but I unplugged the cameras for a long period of time, also upgraded my phone in the same period. I noticed I no longer get any email or app notifications.

 

I do not have any subscription, neither I want any fancy functionality/cloud storage etc, just a simple notification if there is a movement. Online chatbot wasn't useful as I already gone through the page (some of it doesn't match with my app - for example I don't see Routine in the app as well, even though I have the most up to date app).

 

Please can someone help?

 

Edit: When there is a movement, I can see the small movement icon turning Amber on the app, as well as get notification for log-in on this app so there is clearly a link to/from Arlo, so there is no technical reason why this shouldn't work.

Email notifications were turned off a few years ago. The only notifications now are the push ones from the app.

Thanks I am fine with just the app notifications, but those are not working either.

 

My iOS settings are all enabled, and a default notification tone is set in the app.

Have you tried rebooting the phone and reinstalling the app?

Yes, does not fix the issue.

I've installed this onto another iPhone I have access to, just now. Not notification there either.

Yes, not different on my other phone. One is iPhone 17pro the other is iPhone 15 for that matter.

 

I am based in UK, and the app, which is the latest version from App Store looks different to some of the other screenshots I have seen online, does anyone know why that is? As I said, it is a fresh install on one phone and I have deleted and reinstalled it on the other.

 Arlo is (slowly) transitioning to a new user interface.  The app supports both - which one you see depends on how your account is set up in the Arlo Cloud.  The old one says "Library" in the app menu, the new one says "Feed" and "Dashboard".  You have the old one.
