Unable to connect my 4 year old Arlo camera to my new android phone but sending PN?

I can log into my Arlo account via my phone but it says it does not recognize my device...then it says it is sending me a push notification and I never get one via the phone or my email!!!   HELP....Ready to get a diff brand camera

Do you still have your old phone for push notifications? The emails should still work, though.
