I wanted to tell you how frustrating it is as a consumer to have bought into your products and have you make decisions for me with the equipment that I purchased without my approval.  If you want to waste your time inventing this "security feature"  that is your business but you shouldn't force it on me.  Giving me for instance the ability to use email to get a code and having your app log me out when I go to retrieve it so that it no longer recognizes the code is one very good example of why if you lack the competence to implement a feature correctly you really should leave well enough alone.  Please give us the ability to opt out of this and any other bright ideas you have or you will have made my job a lot easier when it comes time to purchase another system.  Frankly you making decisions for me isn't my idea of feeling secure, its just adding more frustration to my life that shouldn't be there.   Do better, let us leave this unwanted "feature."  Oh and save the corporate speak about serving us better, you did this for you, all your doing with this is annoying me.

FWIW, this was added in response to Ring accounts being hacked back in 2019.  Some of the hackers were using 2-way talk to engage with young children they saw on the Ring cameras.  I'm sure Arlo won't change this policy.

You can easily get the system to trust your phone (using a nearby PC when you do that to get the code makes that simpler).
