Turning on and off the cameras

Is there an easy way to arm and disarm all the cameras when leaving and returning home using the IPhone App?

Other than staring the app and changing the mode No, not at this time.

But someone here was working on an auto widget.... I myself am waitng for a geo-fence.

I wrote this to do this with IFTTT and my thermostat feel free to try it out... but its not the easiest thing to set up!

If I disarm all cameras when I come home- will they stop recording?

Yes. The Disarm mode is to deactivate all cameras.

Location-based actions are not (yet) possible with Arlo, though.
