I have set up my schedule to continuous recording between 5am and 10pm. Currently it is 9am. How can I go view what was going on earlier at 6am

No.... not at this time unless its a possible accessory down the road.

The cameras are motion base recording... they are not 24/7 type system.

If your motion sense was turned on for 5 am and there are no recordings at 6am, then either your schedule settings are wrong or no was motion detected ( be it system failure or otherwise).
