Trouble Connecting to base station

I have tried and tried to connect to the base station, does anyone else have this problem???  

Model: VMB3000 | Arlo Base Station, VMB3500 | Arlo Base Station

What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? Have you tried referring to this article to see if that helps: Arlo can't discover my SmartHub or base station during installation; what do I do?

I have been trying for 1 whole day trying to connect the base hub. I have followed every recommendation I have found factory reset, correct connection order, many times.  No go.  It still won't connect. 

I have had this device several years 2017 and din't have this issue with the original set up.  It has been put away for awhile. I know it needs firmware update, but can't connect it at all for that to occur. 

Help please.

Are you using your original login? Have you removed it from Settings, My Devices? Have you held the reset button for >10 seconds until the LEDs flash amber? What are all 3 LEDs showing for power, internet and cameras?
