Can I connect the Arlo base station to router using wifi instead of using cable?

why does it say 300 feet line of site in specifications?
Better yet why dont they provide an AC powered wireless camera?

They do have a powered one. The Q. That is what is causing all the problems/complaints because of the uprade to handle it.

Because Arlo bases ( for Arlo cams ) set up their own wifi system.... for the base and cams to talk to each other.
Best conditions of cam to base is 300 ft as in normal wifi
