I am using my camera to monitor deer, birds, and wild hogs in the yard. Is there a way that once it detects motion and records that you can tell it to wait 15 minutes before detecting motion and recording again? Trying to avoid 15 videos of the same animal back to back.

No, there's no setting like that. Possibly changing the recording time might help but it likely won't unless you can discern a pattern.
