Issue: You see this message when you try to view a camera Live: “The privacy settings do not allow streaming"

Solution: It has nothing to do with privacy. The camera has simply been turned off. The design failure in the websit interface is that you are prevented from turning the camera on if you have turned it off in the mobile app. You need to turn it back on by using the app.

The on/off switch in Settings is a privacy switch. That's likely what the message is all about.

No. My mistake, partially. The browser interface does indeed enable you to turn the camera back on, if you have certain ad-blocking plug-ins (JavaScript) de-actived in your browser. The privacy settings warning still relates to whether the camera is on/off.
