There was a previously closed thread on this topic a couple days ago and the moderator said it was only broken on the web and had been fixed. I cannot log in via the app (doesn't show this error message, just gives me an oops) and I cannot log in via the web (get the above http failure). Have tried Mac and Windows various browsers and cannot find any way to log in.

Hi ldowling5,

Are you still experiencing this issue on your web client and/or Arlo iOS/Android app?

I am also having this issue. I have a + in my email address and I think that is possibly causing a problem. It used to work but it no longer does. I tried contacting Arlo Tech Support, but I have to pay money in order to get this bug fixed.

Please note that I was able to log in to the community forum using my same account credentials. It just won't let me connect to the app on my android phone nor log in on the website, where it generates that http error.

Would it be possible for me to change the email address and remove the part after the plus. That is simply used by Google Gmail in order to do filtering. I don't have to have that part of the email address if it's going to confuse Arlo's code.

Hi wkuinkc,

Are you receiving this error on incognito mode and/or on a different browser when logging in through the web client? And are you experiencing this error on the Arlo app when you're on cellular data and/or WiFi?

Thank you! I was not on my wi-fi and when I tried to authenticate it was going through cellular. I don't remember that being a problem before. When I authenticated it was saying "an error occurred". When I turned on wi-fi, it said it didn't recognize the device but it did let me connect. It didn't send the SMS verification soon enough but I was able to do the 2FA through my email. It seems to have resolved this for me. IDK about the original poster. Sorry I apparently hijacked this thread.

P.S. Now that I am authenticated, I decided to turn off the wi-fi and it is still letting me access the library from my phone. It might help others to make this a recommendation on your login panel.

No.  You can log on even if you have no subscription.

That’s incorrect. I’m currently having this issue. The login works on the community support and accessing the service in app but WILL NOT allow me to access any details of my service. subscriptions require browser and logins get rejected. I get auth. error 0

I borrowed wife’s work laptop. Login works on chrome.
Got resubscribed. Login from phone still doesn’t work.

I was able to get logged in on my phone by making sure it was connected to my wi-fi. It was failing when it was trying to connect on cellular. Once I was able to log in using wi-fi, it now lets me log in even on cellular.
