I have a multiple types of Arlo cameras and I am trying to setup start and end times for a few of the cameras.  I used to easily do this through the Mode option.  Now with the update there is only a place for a Start time.  Any idea how I can End the activity?  Not sure why Arlo got rid of the Mode option.  It worked great!  Thanks!

Note that in the old interface, the end time for one mode was also a start time for a different mode.

So you only need to specify start times.  Just switch to a mode that disarms the cameras at the end time.

Definitely a miss on their part.

Hi all,

I can't help but find that there's something missing since the app update. Before, you could choose a timeframe and now you have to choose specific hours. This is not the same.

As an example, I'm encountering the following problem since the update:

- I want always 'arm away' when 2 devices left (geolocation), whatever time of day it is

- I want 'arm home' between 09:30pm and 06:30am, when at least 1 device (of 2) is at home

- so 'Standby' between 06:30am and 09:30pm, unless both devices left the house

(see my setup in attached screenshots)

But what if we both left (--> armed away) and come back home at 10:00pm? I would want the mode to set 'armed home', but it will set 'Standby' because the 09:30pm trigger won't be activated (this exact time has passed). At that exact moment, the system should check if current time is BETWEEN 09:30pm and 06:30am for it to work, right?

And I can't set the automation to set 'armed home' when someone arriving, because this could be during the day, when it should be 'Standby'...

I hope I'm making sense here 😂

Maybe I'm missing something here, but it seemed easier to setup before the app update...

Any help would be much appreciated!

Yes, that is the conceptual flaw in the current design.  When you come home at 10pm, you need remember to manually change the mode to "Arm Home". Hopefully something Arlo will change.
