I m at my wits end and ready to throw this POS system into the creek in my backyard. This system (4 cameras) was working just fine. For no apparent reason, system went offline and I have been trying to re-setup my devices for weeks ever since. I set up each camera to the base station, see it works, watch it detect motion and try to finish the setup but the app and the webpage are forever stuck on ADD DEVICE, do NOT recognize any cameras I have just synced and I'm ready to tell the world how frustrating this has been. Oh, and as a nationally syndicated radio host heard in hundreds of radio stations across America 6 days per week....I can do it...and WILL. If anyone at Arlo wants to keep that from happening, I would suggest answering this question quickly. I'm done with this.

Threats won't get you far unless you're Trump.
Reset your base using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber. Remove all devices from Settings, My Devices. Open and close all battery doors. Add the base using Add Device on the Devices tab and then sync your cameras. That starts you fresh.
You could also try removing just the cameras as above and then resync. That would be somewhat faster and would save your settings and modes but isn't as thorough.
And there's always contacting support a long time ago to open a case. https://www.arlo.com/en-us/support/contact.aspx

Have you tried Netgear support at their contact under SUPPORT.
The community is more of a users help each other type group and tho the Netgear support people do montior, the fastest response is thu SUPPORT, not necess here.
Having a hostile thread isn't a good way to get help from other users.
Now, not knowing what happened to make it go off line and what was done in the interim, the following should put you back to square one.
First ,get all your cameras and open the battery doors
Second, go into settings for each camera and use REMOVE DEVICE
Third, On the base make sure it has power and then hold in the RESET for about 10 secs tile the front LEDs flash.
Wait a couple mins so the base reboots... you should now have the 1st and 2nd led GREEN ( power and internet, from left )
Take each camera and now close the battery door and re-sync as you did when new. ( quick push on base sync button ,don't hold )
On completion, all should be running with all normal default settings applied
Morse is faster than texting!
