I have a camera set up in my shop and somebody broke in and stole some tools I always leave the camera on The thief was able to shut the camera off Somehow ? When I look on YouTube it shows videos on how to shut down arlo cameras that are not yours ! Is Anyone familiar with this issue ?

Searching youtube isn't showing me any videos of the sort.

 

But if you have a camera with a base station, then turning off your power or cutting your ISP cables would do it.  Or using an illegal wifi jammer.   If someone approaches the camera from the rear, they could bag it, remove the batteries, etc.

 

Did you test that it will record you reliably when you walk to where the tools were?  Did it record anything at all?
