Revert back to the old app

The new Arlo app is complicated and not at all user friendly. I have lost critical configuration settings and after days of trying can not recreate them in the new app. I want to revert the app to the old version but cannot find a way. Support is this useless AI assistant that only answers a question with either “I do not understand” or trying to sell me something else. How can I revert to the previous app or fix missing functionality?

You can't revert to the old app, unfortunately, but if you post here on how you want your system set up, help is available.

I have got to get this sorted out and turned on again, I’ve got alarms and notifications going off and the only way I can stop it is to turn Arlo off. I have looked through the app and checked out my options with AI to see if I can get things working again but it appears the only way I can fix my scheduled tasks is to set everything up again. This is going to take a lot of work as I have actions triggering other actions. I’ve not even looked at my geofence setup yet so I hope that’s ok. This new Arlo update is a disaster unless there is some way to fix the scheduling mess up without starting over again?

Hi guys

Apologies for the rant, I’m really frustrated. Thanks for the offer to help I do appreciate it. The schedules appear to have been recreated incorrectly during the update. If I can’t go back to the previous version the only way I can see to resolve this is recreate the configuration again. Thanks again for contacting me 🙂
