Hello,

I've got an original Arlo Pro Camera setup that I'm looking to use. Unfortunately, the charing cable that came with it has since become broken. I've purchased a UGREEN (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0773N757H) and paired it with this charger (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Charger-Compact-Foldable-MacBook-Black). However, this doesn't seem to be charging the camera. Has anyone managed to get a replacement cable from Arlo or found a 3rd party combination that works?

Apologies, it's this one.

FWIW, google AI doesn't think that charger (Anker 735) supports Qualcomm quick charge.  No idea whether that is correct or not.

Note that the charger should still be able to run the camera even if it can't charge the battery.  You could test that by removing the battery and seeing if using the charger+cable w/o the battery allows it to power up.

The other potential challenge is that a lot of microusb cables don't quite fit all the way into the camera charging port.

This link isn't working for me.  Plus the only product that I see that matches the description has a single USB-C port.  Something off there, since the cable you posted has USB-A.

You want a charger what supports Qualcomm quick charge.  Perhaps something like this:

Apologies, it's this one. Thanks for the link, I will have a look and see if I can find UK equivalent ones 🙂

Thanks, Steven! The cable seems to be pretty flush in the port and and the app indicates that a charge is being received. Seems like it's not enough to charge the battery, but I will try with a different charger and see if that works. If not, I'll check eBay etc for an old charger and cable.

Your help is much appreciated 🙂

You need a charger with Qualcomm support. Some phone manufacturers implement this kind of technology, so check your phone charger first. My Moto charger, for example, supports Qualcomm and so I didn't need a separate one. Essentially, if it's charging your cameras, then it'll support Qualcomm.

Any micro usb cable will do, as long as it fits into the slot.

I've got an iPhone so am using USB-C chargers. I'll check some of my other chargers and see if that works. If not, I'll grab one from Amazon.

Much appreciated 🙂
