I want to close an ARLO account that can not be accessed because the Gmail address used to sign in is now "undiscoverable" by Google and my old/lost cell phone number is receiving all the verification codes, as originally specified in the two-step verification process....which I can not edit.

Then, I want to open a new ARLO account, with a different email address and password, and onboard my 5 ARLO VMC3030 cameras using my VMB3000 Base Station.

I am using a PC with Windows 10...and do not have a tablet or Smartphone.

I successfully onboarded these cameras in 2015 myself, using just a PC. But, I understand that ARLO has a new system now.

Question 1: Can someone give me the step-by-step instructions for doing this, using ARLO's new system?

Question 2: Do I have to remove each camera first (using the "Remove Device" option) before closing the account?

Question 3: Does the closing of an ARLO account AUTOMATICALLY remove the cameras?

Question 4: If I did not remove each camera before closing my ARLO account, would that affect my ability to on-board these cameras into the new account?

If you have lost access to your system you can ask a arlo forum moderator to help.

Can you please dm me a callback number as well as a good time to call. That way I can have support look into this further. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.If you don't see it, then go into your profile settings and select preferences, then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.
