Record birds. Quality not good... Any ideas?

Hello!

Im recording bird activity. The problem is that the camera is not giving me the quality i was hoping for. 

The move is stuttering and pixel when the bird fly and stopping. Is the webcam 720p not god enough for this kind of activity? 

Any ideas?

what distens to the bird from the camera is the best for best recordings? Not use the zoom i guess also.

Is it posible in new firmare to setup the camera with more settings??
