I would like to purchase rechargeable batteries for my Arlo, regular ones last 2-3 months.

Netgear is selling the Tenergy unit with 4 650mA batteries.

Amazon is offering a BM premium unit with 4 1200mA batteries for a significantly lower price, also claiming they are compatible with Arlo.

Besides the price, is there an advantage to using the 1200mA batteries?

None. Any batteries rated at more than about 700mAH is bogus or the wrong battery type. Don't waste your money.

Buy the wrong low cost batteries and they won't work if you're lucky and leak and trash your cam if unlucky.

Also keep in mind the RCR123A come in two flavours 3.0 and 3.7V.  You need to 3.7V for the Arlo (even Tenergy sells a 3.0 V one)
