Base: VMB3010r2 - 1.12.2.9_619_04968d8

Camera: H7 - 1.4.293

I have a system w/ 5 cameras located around the outside of my home. Farthest is ~50' and others are less than 20'. Have had my system for several years, but now cameras randomly drop offline. This requires me to go retrieve the unit, open/close battery door, replace and reorient camera into position. Next day? Same frustrating rigmarole. Almost. Every. Day.
I've read the recommendations,

  • Swapped cameras
  • Changed batteries
  • All are latest available update
  • Moved Base station away from router to reduce interference
  • Moved Base station higher in home
  • Reoriented base station
  • Reset base station
  • Powered down and up Base station
  • Screamed at base station...

If the issue is an intermittent disconnect from the base station, why can't it reconnect and resume? Why, repeat: why do I have to re-initiate all of these steps with the same FRUSTRATING result? And while the camera keeps looking for the station, kills the (recommended) Tenergy batteries, so I have to rotate through recharging them all.

Have been an advocate for Arlo for the duration and convinced two coworkers to purchase (embarrased now). What, short of tossing in garbage, do I need to do to correct?
