Upon detection of motion from an outside camera, allow an inside camera to go into motion dection mode for a fixed length of time. This will allow internal cameras to be most useful without wasting battery charge recording on a false positive on an outside camera. Currently the only options are to record for up to 120 seconds or do nothing.

Thanks for considering this feature.

MilesAway,

This can currently be done with a custom mode. You can set up a rule to tell the inside camera to start recording when the outside camera detects motion. This can be a 10-300 second recording.

For more information, take a look here: How do I create a mode with different rules for each Arlo Wire-Free or Arlo Pro Wire-Free camera?

I know. I have had ongoing discussions with tech support for several weeks about this. They recommended that I post this request because what you suggest is NOT what I want to happen. I live in the country and get many false outside tiggers (I have adjusted the sensitivity down as far as I want to) because of animals. I currently have my modes set up to cause the inside cameras to recorde upon detection of motion on an outside camera (as you suggest). However all this does is burn my inside camera batteries with nothing useful. If you think about it, if there is a valid outside motion and someone enters the house, you want the inside cameras to continue to record on ANY motion for a period of several minutes, not 2 minutes of forced recording and then nothing else. Using a schedule doesn't work, because the camera needs to go into motion detection mode based on a tigger not a specific time.
