I am using VMB4540 to store and playback videos of my Arlo indoor essential and Arlo Video Door Bell.  I set up the Arlo apps in my mobile devices, it works on my SONY Xperia 1 iv, and SAMSUNG Galaxy S21fe, but not quite working on my SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S7+.  The port forwarding status shows "not available" followed with a red circle exclamation mark.  I am sure that all settings of Arlo apps in Galaxy Tab S7+ is same as my SONY Xperia 1 iv.  Is there any other setting I should check to make the port forwarding status available? Thanks. GalaxyTab_20250617.jpeg

Port forwarding is a function of your router, not your phones or tablets. On any device, enter the router's settings and use that interface to set it up. The Arlo app simply gives info as to what data is to be entered. Note that the hub's IP address may change when it or the router is rebooted so it's worthwhile to set an address reservation in the router's DHCP settings so the hub always gets the same IP address which will allow port forwarding to keep working in spite of reboots.

If it still works when the two phones are not connected to your home wifi, then it is not a router issue.

Is the Tab connected to the same network as the phones?

all 3 devices are connected into the same router using same 2.4GHz WiFi.  All 3 devices can check live videos of both indoor essential and video door bell, able to set everything in Arlo apps, except the SmartHub is not able to find the storage by using SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S7+.  Besides, sometimes the Xperia 1 iv and S21fe will have the same problem, but it could be fixed by resetting the port forwarding to get a new port number, and then enter this new port number to the router port forwarding setting again.

This is somewhat off-topic.  But are you reserving the smarthub's local IP address in your router?

Are they connected to the same network as the smarthub?  (If they are, then you should see local videos even without port forwarding).

Is the Tab getting an IPv4 address?  Or is it connecting with IPv6?

Yes, I tried. But the Galaxy Tab was still not able to connect the storage via SmartHub
