Phone will not connect with the system through app

I bought the arlo system last night it comes with a hub and 2 cameras. I plugged the hub in all lights green no problem but my phone will not connect with the system through the app.. any ideas?

What phone ??

did you set it up on a browser on a PC?  at  https://arlo.netgear.com/

* during setup, phone must be on the same network as the base unit.
