Bear with me on this:

Camera A records on motion and activates Camera B to record.

When Camera B records on motion and motion passes Camera A, Camera A does not record.

If Camera B is not activated by motion and motion passes Camera A, Camera A records.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I have deleted the 'mode' and reprogrammed it.

Seems to be ok now.

Bit of a pain having to keep redoing these settings.

Anyway, I think it's fixed now.

Not sure I understand... it would be better if you show  yrrules and then state the problem.....So your saying your rules are as follows;

A senses, records on A

A senses, records on B

Do you also have the reverse rules??

B senses, records on B

B senses, records on A

Hi TomMac, thanks for the reply.

I don't have a reverse rule.

B senses, records on B

However, if I give B a wide berth so that it doesn't sence and then walk by A, A doesn't record.

I know A has activated because I hear the camera 'click'.

This strange behaviour started after the upgrade.

Hope this clarifies?

Sorry TomMac, I'm confusing myself!

Ok, then since it started after the update... I would go in and check you settings ( sensitivity ) for the cameras... When the new s/w came in a lot of the rules were set to default values,  I had to go and change my settings from 80% to where I had set them after testing.

As a second note, I ended up deleting all my older custom modes ( transfered from the older s/w ) and rewriting them.. this seems to make them respond better.

In the Devices tab, is the running man for the camera gray or black? If gray, it's not armed. Go to the Mode tab, click on your base and check the mode that's selected. Make sure there's a rule for the Pro and that it's set appropriately. Besure to save any changes.
