As others have suffered in the past, my base station has suddenly started stating that it does not recognise the flash drive. I have reset and removed and reinstalled the drive but nothing changes. No firmware update available and going on holiday in 6 days!!

May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.
