My camera works because I can go to LIVE and see what is going on but it will not record

First thing to do is check your MODE... go to MODE, click on ARMED, verify the ARMED is on

Go to the LIVE view screen and check if the 'running man' is BLACK ( not gray which is off) above each camera. If so go and retest the cameras for motion record.
