When I logon to my myarlo account, I don't have a MODE tab, so can't add or change modes. Same when using my Iphone app. Suspect something with ADMIN but don't know how to change.

- Are you using a PC or a tablet?
- Do you see "Dashboard" and "Feed" on your app menu, or do you instead see "Library"
- Are you using a shared "Friend" account? Or are you using the account from which you installed the cameras?

Since you use the new user interface that uses Feed to view recordings, there is no Mode tab - it's now called Routines. Read this FAQ for details:
https://kb.arlo.com/000062777/About-Arlo-Routines-Modes-Rules-and-Automations
However, to change modes, use Dashboard and select the appropriate mode there.

You have three built-in modes - Arm Away, Arm Home, and Standby. You can modify these if you like. That's done from the routines page that @jguerdat mentioned. You also set up scheduling and geofencing automations from the routines page.
But simply manually changing the mode is done from the dashboard screen. The current mode is shown in color, the other two are black & white. Just press on the mode you want to change it.
