Firmware 1.28.1.0_4738_0d0e9d8
Camera Product Type Pro2
Camera Hardware H3
Camera Firmware 1.125.17.1_11_de8490d
I did have a custom mode configured BEFORE the upgrade. It is still in the configuration although no idea if it's being used or scheduled.

@Raison - "Always enabled" will work, but there is one side effect you should be aware of.
- "Always enabled" will keep the schedule running, even if you manually switch to standby. So at the next trigger time, the system will switch to either Arm Home or Arm Away (even if you disarmed the system).
- With the "Arm Away, Arm Home" I suggested, the schedule will be disabled when you switch to Standby, and it will remain disabled until you manually change the mode to something else.

Folks, Did I send this to the wrong group? If so, please tell me what group I should address this to.
Meanwhile, I have an update. Since my old (previous version) rule was not working on this version, I deleted it and started over.
1. I personally hate this interface.
2. Although I've been able to get my cameras to work, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to enable ONLY ONE of my cameras during the day. At night, I want ALL my cameras to be active.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Basic idea is to modify the "Arm Home" mode to only arm the one camera. You do this by deleting the rules for the other cameras.
Then create a schedule automation to switch to "Arm Home" during the day, and a second automation to switch back to "Arm Away" at night.

Stephen,
I absolutely HATE this interface! For me anyway the previous interface and rule set ups were VERY easy to set up. This is the total opposite.
I set up Arm Home for one camera with rules active. I do not not have any rules active for the other 3 cameras. Arm Away has all cameras and rules active. NOTE : To me I’d like to customize Arm Home and Arm Away Mode names on my phone. Continually I need to bounce back and forth on screens to remember what each is configured for.
2. Daytime Automation I have set for 8AM and “wanted” that to use ARM HOME. I put in ARM
HOME in schedule entries. UNFORTUNATELY it’s using ARM AWAY since I have all cameras alerting.
3. Nighttime automation is set for 8PM and have ARM AWAY in the schedule settings. I had hope to have set for ARM Away.
Had hoped to send photos of configurations but guess that’s not allowed.
Please let me know what can explain better so you understand what the I screwed up. Well, that is if you have the patience to work with me. Sorry…
Thanks so much for all your help!

You can post screenshots, using the photo icon in the toolbar above the textbox.
Here is an example that switches between standby and arm home. Not what you are doing, but hopefully close enough to be helpful.
Be careful with the enable list (right underneath the automation name). If you are switching between Arm Home and Arm Away, then both automations should list Arm Away, Arm Home (and should not list Standby)
The enable list at the top identifies the modes in which the automation is supposed to run - NOT what the automation is supposed to do. So if the list is Arm Away, Arm Home, then the schedule will be turned off when you manually switch to Standby, and will stay off until you manually switch it back to one of the other modes.

Sorry for delayed response. I’m about to buy another brand. I’ve never been so frustrated with a software interface.
That said, another attempt using screen shots (thanks for tip)..

You apparently ignored my comment above on the enable lists. Both should be set to "Arm Away, Arm Home".
You are telling the system to run "Night Time" only when the system is in "Arm Away". And of course the point of the automation is to switch the mode to "Arm Away". So the automation has no effect, since it only runs when it is not needed.
The same defect is in "Daytime".

Well, the problem is that you set the enable list incorrectly. Hopefully the info I posted above on exactly how it needs to be set will help.
I'm just another user (I don't work for Arlo), so I am not in any way responsible for their design. I would have done something closer to what they had before,

I suspect you didn't understand, then. The selection just below the automation's name is the issue. Instead of selecting only Arm Away or Arm Home, leave them all selected so the section then changes to Always Enabled. Additionally, in the Then section, use Change Mode to select Arm Home or Arm Away.
However, it appears that you're using a somewhat older version of the app. Is this for Android or iOS? My Android app no longer shows that top section normally called Always Enabled where you can enable/disable various modes. It simply isn't there (see my picture) except in geofencing.
