I have two old Arlo cameras which used to be connected to a VMB3000 Base Station, which broke down.

I purchased a VMB3500 Base Station.

After connecting it to the router and then powering, I can see the network flag green (fixed, every now and then blinking), and on my router dashboard the device is recognized and given an IP address. So internet connectivity should be OK. Unfortunately the discovery from the app always fails.

I've already tried several times to disconnect it and reconnect in the right sequence, and also reset to factory defaults via the relevant "contact" for 10s. Always without success.

What else can I try?

Thanks in advance!

Where did you purchase this device from? Was it a used unit?

I purchased it new, on eBay, but by a dealer and with good feedbacks and number of sold goods.

But I made the mistake to not realize that it was in a different country, so I guess there not much I can do for it.

The package was integral and the product well sealed.

Meanwhile I tried also with a different ethernet cable and changing DNS server, but to no avail...

Hello,

I am trying to reinstall a base VMB3000 base station.

I deleted it and the cameras from the app. I reset the base station to factory settings until all lights flashed amber and the power light went back to solid amber. I let the base reset for 15 min. I turned the power of the base station off, waited 20 seconds, plugged in the ethernet cable, and re-powered the base station.  The power and internet lights turned green. Then used the app to look for the device, but the app can not find the  base station.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
